Starting off 2025 with a bang, Xbox Game Pass is beefing up its lineup with Citizen Sleeper 2 and Eternal Strands arriving this January. Gamers can dive into Yellow Brick Games’ action-packed adventure, Eternal Strands, starting January 28, 2025. Just a few days later, on January 31, 2025, the much-anticipated sequel, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, will also be available.
Eternal Strands
Crafted by Yellow Brick Games, Eternal Strands takes you on an enchanting journey as Brynn, a talented Weaver with extraordinary magical prowess. Many years ago, the Enclave isolated itself from the outside world behind what seemed an unbreakable barrier. Somehow, a group of Weavers has managed to breach it, and it’s up to Brynn to delve into this forgotten realm and reclaim the ancestral home of the Weavers.
As you traverse the wild landscapes and the bustling capital city of Dynevron, you’ll wield your magic abilities alongside an array of powerful weapons. Your mission? To defeat a striking array of mythical foes, from humanoid constructs to massive beasts, all while unraveling the secrets buried in this mysterious land.
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
Following the success of the 2022 standout narrative RPG, Citizen Sleeper, comes its sequel, Starward Vector. In this new installment, you assume the role of a sleeper—essentially a human mind simulator embedded within an artificial body. Fleeing the corporation that created and controls you, your survival hinges on building a loyal crew and circle of friends across the Starward Belt, as well as commandeering a spacecraft to forge a new future.
Developer Jump Over the Age shares that Citizen Sleeper 2 enhances the original’s tabletop RPG vibe with the introduction of the ‘Push’ ability for every class. This feature can either turn a tough situation in your favor or lead you into peril, depending on how and when you deploy it.
Citizen Sleeper already holds a spot among the best titles on Xbox Game Pass, making it a must-play for subscribers. So, what do you think of these new additions set to hit Game Pass? We’d love to hear your thoughts—drop a comment below!
