Dark Passenger, a talented game developer hailing from Poland, has recently secured a hefty $3 million boost of funding. This exciting development comes courtesy of a blend of investors with The Games Fund leading the charge, and Blite Fund also joining the effort. The funds are earmarked for the development of Dark Passenger’s inaugural project—a third-person multiplayer stealth action game intricately set in the captivating era of feudal Japan.
Jakub Ben, the CEO of Dark Passenger, shares his enthusiasm, noting the extraordinary potential that still lies within the multiplayer gaming realm. “The current landscape is more thrilling than ever before, yet there’s so much untapped potential just waiting to be explored,” he explained. “Finding partners who truly grasp our vision, ones who possess imagination and trust, is rare. But we found exactly that in The Games Fund.”
For Jakub and his team, this investment is transformative. He elaborates, “This level of support has allowed us to expand our team significantly and lay a solid foundation for our project, which means we can now zero in on bringing our vision to life.”
Adding to the excitement, Ilia Eremeev, co-founder of The Games Fund, shares his perspective. “The gaming scene is in dire need of titles that aren’t afraid to push boundaries and deliver those jaw-dropping, ‘Hell yeah!’ experiences,” he says. “When we saw Dark Passenger’s early demo, it was clear they were on track to deliver precisely that.”
Ilia continues, “The demo’s quality was nothing short of incredible, especially considering the team’s size and the time they’d spent developing it. We immediately found ourselves aligned with their ambition to create an exhilarating and pure power fantasy. Partnering with these visionary founders on this journey is a thrilling prospect for us.”
With these powerful partnerships and a clear vision, Dark Passenger is poised to make waves in the gaming industry, bringing fresh and bold experiences to players worldwide.
