Savvy Games Group has announced a new addition to their team, welcoming industry veteran Nika Nour as their Senior Vice President and head of international business development.
In a recent LinkedIn update, the company shared that Nour will be tasked with cultivating “strategic partnerships” on a global scale.
Before joining Savvy, Nika Nour held the role of head of partnerships at Genvid and served as the executive director at the IGDA Foundation.
Savvy Games highlighted, “With more than ten years of experience in the gaming, technology, and entertainment sectors, Nika’s focus will be on crafting strategic international partnerships and attracting game studios and companies to establish operations in the Kingdom.”
The company further mentioned, “Nika will also play a crucial role in advising on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments that will bolster the growth of Savvy’s ecosystem.”
Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Nour stated, “I’m excited to lead efforts in creating strategic international partnerships, attracting game studios and companies, and supporting the Kingdom’s ambition to become a global gaming hub. Huge thanks to CEO Brian Ward for the opportunity to be part of Savvy’s leadership team. I am looking forward to relocating to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and embarking on this new journey.”
