Rebellion is gearing up to launch its first virtual reality game from the Zombie Army series, set to hit all major VR platforms next month. This thrilling co-op campaign will be available on Quest 2 and newer, PSVR 2, and SteamVR headsets starting May 22nd. You’ll join the elite Deadhunters squad, battling it out to put an end to the apocalypse.
Players will dive into a mission through the zombie-infested ruins near Nuremberg. Partner with Captain Hermann Wolff, the famed leader of the Deadhunters, as he searches for his missing family and works to liberate Europe from the undead menace, according to Rebellion.

Promising a “full-length, story-driven campaign,” the game invites you to either go solo or team up for a two-player co-op adventure. It once again features authentic World War II weapons like sniper rifles, submachine guns, and pistols, which you can dual-wield and manually reload.
Your journey includes leveling up your Deadhunter by earning XP, allowing you to enhance your arsenal with Weapon Upgrade kits. These kits can fine-tune the range, accuracy, scope, and capacity of your weapons.
But watch out—you’ll face more than the usual zombie foot soldiers. Expect to encounter franchise staples like Armored Giants, Suiciders, and Sniper Zombies. And, making a return from Rebellion’s Sniper Elite VR (2021), the famed X-ray Kill Cam lets you enjoy your long-range shots in dramatic slow motion.
Eager to get a head start? You can pre-order Zombie Army VR now in the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and above, the PlayStation Store for PSVR 2, and Steam for PC VR headsets. Be sure to snag it while it’s available at a 10% discount off its usual $30 price.
