The original PlayStation 2 title, "Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army," has been faithfully remastered. This supernatural action RPG now features an upgraded battle system, improved graphics, full voice acting for the main story, and several quality-of-life tweaks to enhance the gaming experience.
The story kicks off with a young heiress reaching out to the Narumi Detective Agency with a bizarre request — she wants to be killed, yet offers no reason. Before any action is taken, she’s kidnapped. It’s up to Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, an apprentice detective doubling as a Devil Summoner tasked with safeguarding the Capital, to unravel the mystery.
Raidou’s journey leads him across the city and even into the Dark Realm, a treacherous place teeming with demons that serves as a crossroads between our world and the netherworld. What begins as a simple missing persons case quickly spirals into a conspiracy that threatens not just the Capital, but the entire nation.
You can grab a copy of "Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army" both at stores and digitally on the Nintendo eShop starting June 19, 2025, for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Plus, if you pre-order, you’ll get an exclusive Raidou Glasses bonus—a pair of in-game Taisho-era glasses for Raidou.
