With February just around the corner, Xbox players will need to brace themselves for a wave of server shutdowns. If you’re an achievement hunter, you’ll want to pay close attention as we detail all the games that are set to go offline in February 2025, allowing you to plan your gaming schedule accordingly.
Server Shutdowns for Xbox Games in February 2025
Here’s a quick overview of the games facing server closures next February:
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Let’s dive into what each game’s shutdown means for players.
Divine Knockout
In October, Hi-Rez Studios announced major layoffs and a strategic pivot towards Smite 2, leading to the closure of servers for Divine Knockout. Mark your calendar for February 17, 2025, as this day will see 19 achievements becoming unobtainable. If you haven’t yet unlocked the full 1,000G, you’ll need about eight hours to do so.
Realm Royale Reforged
Another casualty of Hi-Rez Studios’ restructuring is Realm Royale Reforged. The battle royale game’s servers will shut down on February 17, 2025, resulting in the discontinuation of 20 achievements. If you’re aiming for the 1,000G, plan for approximately 15 hours of gameplay and consider checking out our walkthrough guide for some extra help.
EA Sports UFC 3
After entertaining us for a solid five years, EA Sports UFC 3 will see its online services shuttered on February 17, 2025. Fifteen achievements will become unobtainable post-closure, and you’ll find that some of these require a fair amount of dedication to unlock. Although the game has been delisted, Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers can still access the MMA action.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
Prepare for February 18, 2025, when the servers for Hood: Outlaws and Legends will close down. Since it’s an online-only PvPvE game, all 50 achievements will be off the table after this date. If you’re chasing completion, dedicate around 80 hours before time runs out. Note that this game, being digital-only, is no longer available on the Microsoft Store.
Dark Alliance
The action-packed world of Dark Alliance will darken on February 24, 2025, discontinuing four lucrative Xbox achievements. Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast will also be pulling the game from the Xbox store simultaneously, so make sure you’ve nabbed it if you’re interested.
The Golf Club
HB Studios and 2K Sports revealed plans back in December for the server shutdown of two of The Golf Club’s legacy titles. Come February 28, 2025, six achievements in The Golf Club will be no more. For those intent on finishing this golfing classic, hunting down a physical copy is your best bet since it’s been delisted from digital shelves.
The Golf Club 2
Similar to its predecessor, The Golf Club 2 will see four achievements go offline once servers are closed on February 28, 2025. Ditto the digital availability, if you don’t own it yet, you’ll have to source a physical version to keep swinging.
KartRider: Drift
Nexon announced back in August that their free-to-play racer, KartRider: Drift, would throttle down on February 28, 2025. Out of its 28 total achievements, 22 will be shelved. With the game already delisted, your window for achieving full completion is rapidly closing.
Disco Dodgeball Remix
Lastly, Disco Dodgeball Remix is set to lose online support on February 28, 2025. Fortunately, this quirky sports game doesn’t have any online-only achievements, so there’s less pressure to rush. However, it will be delisted on the same day and won’t be coming back, as no physical copies exist.
Keep these dates in mind as they approach, and good luck rounding out your achievements while you still can!
