Rocksteady, the London-based developer behind the much-loved Batman: Arkham series, hasn’t had the easiest of years. They invested several years into creating Suicide Squad, having not released a major title since Batman: Arkham Knight back in 2015. Their latest project took a new direction as a live-service, co-op shooter akin to Destiny, which didn’t sit well with some fans. After a significant delay, it launched in February 2024, only to receive mixed feedback, face lackluster sales, and witness a dwindling player base. As a result, Warner Bros. Discovery reported a substantial $200 million loss on this game.
That said, Kill the Justice League is far from being a disaster. It offers some daring narrative choices that may intrigue players. At these discounted prices, it’s certainly worth a look.
