Let’s dive into some details, starting with the new main quest. You’ll be drawn into the depths of Avinoleum, where secrets about Cartethyia and the elusive Sentinel are waiting to be unveiled. As you may recall from version 2.0, there are still mysteries surrounding the enigmatic Cartethyia and the vanished Imperator. In version 2.2, get ready for new Main Quests titled The Maiden, The Defier, and The Death Crier. Your adventure kicks off at Beohr Waters, behind Porto-Veno Castle, leading you to Avinoleum—an upside-down region floating in the air, where the history of Rinascita and the true story of Sentinel will slowly unravel. Complete the quest and you’ll score the 5-Star Sword Bloodpact’s Pledge, absolutely free.

Now, let’s chat about some exciting new characters. Making her debut is the dazzling 5-Star Resonator, Cantarella. She hails from the Fisalia family as their 36th Lead and comes armed with a powerful Rectifier. Cantarella embodies the deep-sea and poisonous themes of her lineage. In battle, she wields an umbrella infused with the venomous sting of jellyfish to gather energy for her special Trance state. Once charged, her heavy ground attacks can trigger the mesmerizing Mirage, which blankets the field in an underwater illusion. By consuming her Forte Gauge, Cantarella not only hinders enemy movement with her Resonance Skill but also heals her entire crew. Activating Resonance Liberation lets her execute lengthy coordinated attacks, while her Outro Skill steps up the damage for incoming Resonators’ skills.

In version 2.2, Rover gets a fresh new attribute: Aero, joining the ranks of Spectro and Havoc. Powered by Aero, Rover shows off with a nimble one-handed sword and excels in airborne combat. Under the right conditions, Aero Rover’s aerial strikes can heal the whole team. The feat of converting negative status effects on foes into an Aero Erosion Effect is just the start. Triggering the Outro Skill enhances Aero Erosion further, and when enough energy is amassed, Rover summons a mammoth sword from the sky to smash down on adversaries. Once Resonance Liberation is triggered, there’s a combo of Aero Damage and team healing.

Cantarella’s story, A Fleeting Night’s Dream, also unfurls in version 2.2. It all begins with a mysterious letter from the Ghost Girl, inviting Rover to a special event—Night of Remembrance in Egla Town. Amidst the crowd stands a girl in a red hat, ready to peel back the layers of Porto-Veno Castle’s undisclosed history. Join Cantarella as the journey beckons you to the Sea of Ghosts, where untold tales await.

As Rover’s travels bring you to the next grand locale—Avinoleum—brace yourself for new adventures. Once the pinnacle of Ragunna’s spiritual community, the inverted seminary now towers alongside Sentinel, nearly brushing the heavens. Though time has long passed, the ghostly Tacet Discords left behind from the Dark Tide outbreak linger on. To fend off these shadows and stop the spread of the Dark Tide, gravity itself has inverted, with the dome now leaning towards the earth. Inside Avinoleum, Rover will face unique challenges, including the Gravity Adjustment gameplay, where strategically flipping gravity with the use of Gravity Calibrators comes into play.
