This week’s Xbox gameplay chart shows stability at the top, with no changes among the leading six games. However, a wave of players is diving back into “Far Cry New Dawn,” thanks to its reappearance on Game Pass, spurring interest in collecting all its achievements. As we anticipate more highly anticipated Game Pass titles hitting the shelves soon, we might see new contenders climbing within the top 40.
“Sniper Elite: Resistance” continues to make waves after its Game Pass debut, moving up to seventh place. Sean’s review showered it with accolades, making it a solid choice if you’re still undecided. Meanwhile, “Halo Infinite” is enjoying a resurgence, bouncing up from the 23rd to the 17th spot following its latest update.
“Far Cry New Dawn” has re-entered the chart in 19th place after its recent Game Pass addition. On the contrary, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” has slipped again, now at 22nd, despite being a wonderful game. The influx of upcoming Game Pass releases may be making it hard for players to keep up with multiple major titles.
“Ninja Gaiden 2 Black” saw a surge in interest and chart performance after its unexpected Xbox release, but it’s now plummeted from 11th to 24th. “Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap” follows a similar trajectory, falling to 31st after its Game Pass introduction.
Elsewhere, we see “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II” re-emerging at 33rd, with “No Man’s Sky” at 36th, both likely benefiting from significant updates. “Eternal Strands,” which initially got a jumpstart as a day-one Game Pass release, has tumbled from 19th to 38th, and “Hell Let Loose” wraps up the list at 40th.
In looking at the broader picture, it’s a bit surprising not to see “Kingdom Come: Deliverance II” cracking the top 40. Despite being a hotly anticipated sequel, its hefty RPG nature and non-Game Pass availability might lead some players to wait for a more opportune time to dive in.
